Tidal Pools is here to walk you through the process of building a gunite pool designed to ensure long-lasting quality. The process begins with design and permitting, followed by excavation of the pool area. Steel rebar reinforcement is then installed to form the pool’s shape and structure. Next, gunite (a durable sprayed concrete) is applied and cured to create the pool shell. After gunite the plumbing is run to the equipment location. Then the coping and waterline tile are installed. Finally, the pool equipment is installed and the interior plaster is installed, the pool is filled with water, and the water is balanced for safe swimming.
